If you’re looking for affordable practice, this is the place! They have 3 rehearsal studios, all equipped with drum-kits and the raw essentials. If you want to save some energy from lugging around gear, they also provide on-site rentals for bass, guitar and crash cymbals – all for $5.00 or less (per session). Rehearsing alone? You can get a 25% discount for booking between 13:00 and 18:00 on a weekday. Cash only! Please note that this space closes an hour early on Sundays. Open hours are 12:00 – 00:00.

Many relive those moments on 1180 St-Antoine Ouest, a beloved space right by the Bell Centre. Since closing, Fern has opened a new spot 10 minutes away. It’s laid back, unpretentious and a perfect for hammering out tunes. They offer 2 rehearsal studios by-the-hour, equipped with full drum-kits, 2 guitar amps, 1 bass amp, 4 mics and a 350 Watt P.A. system. The minimum booking session is 2 hours. 3) Studio Jam Avenue ? Ville Saint-Laurent
By musicians, for musicians. This spot offers beautiful practice studios at standard rates. The studios are air-conditioned and parking is free. They also provide lessons for anyone looking to advance their drumming, singing or piano playing. If you’re in the area, check this one out! Drummers, bring your own cymbals! Great staff – great gear – great location. These are gorgeous rehearsal studios built with refined equipment. They have 10 rooms (250 square ft or bigger), and 5 are available to rent by hour. Becoming a member will make these rooms even cheaper – as listed below. And, if you’d rather rent by the month: these rentals are $500/month and provide 24 hour accessibility, an alarm system, wireless internet and electricity – no equipment included! 5) Studio Base Bin ? Plateau & De Lorimier
On the Eastern side of the Plateau resides the acclaimed, Studio Base Bin. This spot has hosted bands such as Simple Plan, Offenbach, The Barr Brothers and Chromeo. They provide 7 quality rehearsal spaces and are regarded as some of the best in the area. Minimum booking is three hours, and you can find equipment lists for each studio on their website! Below we have listed the prices for minimum session lengths, though the deals get better as you book for longer. They also provide cheaper rates for solo rehearsals, starting from $12/hr for 1 hour, and $10/hr for 2-3 hours. Open hours are 09:00 – 00:00.
